Our Commercial Approach
Price f(x) is a true Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) solution provided to our customers on a subscription fee, or in other words “use related fee”, basis.
There are no perpetual nor any term licenses to be purchased, no long term commitments to be made and no entry nor exit clauses or penalties to be accepted when engaging with us. It is as simple as “pay as you use it and use it, as long as you are happy with it”.
Those are the cornerstones of our commercial model:
- Subscription Model based on a one-time “Infrastructure Set-Up Fee” followed by monthly “Subscription Fees” per application module and month (please contact us for the service price list)
- One Month Trial free of setup and subscription fees
- No Minimum Term contracts and very flexible termination terms, i.e. one month per quarter end or two months per month end – your choice
Meet Our Co-Founders
Marcin has over 20 years of experience in the software and software related consulting business with a success track record in establishing and growing new start-up operations in Europe. Before co-founding Price f(x), Marcin was responsible for Vendavo’s (leading provider of enterprise pricing software) operations in Europe as the “General Manager and VP Europe”. Between 2006 and 2010 Marcin quickly grew Vendavo’s European business to a currently profitable and well-functioning operations. Prior to that Marcin was in charge of establishing and growing Ariba’s (leading provider of enterprise supply chain and sourcing software) European services business with over 160 people in staff by 2006. Between his graduation as BA of Economics at the Zurich University in 1994 and start of his engagement with Ariba in 1999, Marcin was in charge of starting up and growing the supply chain system integration consulting business at Coopers&Lybrand in Switzerland and later at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Central Europe.
Christian has over 19 years of experience in software engineering and in consulting within the enterprise IT space. He holds a Master of Business Informatics from BA Mannheim, Germany. Prior to co-founding Price f(x), Christian has been working – both as an employee and an independent contractor – in the key role of a Solution Architect for complex, multi-national software implementations of Ariba’s and Vendavo’s software solutions, gaining relevant business and technology expertise. Prior to that, Christian was Software Architect and Senior Consultant in the professional service organizations of Digital Equipment Corporation/Compaq and Softlab.
Dr. Martin Wricke
Martin has over 15 years of experience in pricing and implementing pricing software in various industries. Before co-founding Price f(x), Martin was the Global Head of Pricing at Döhler Group. He was responsible for establishing and running the pricing organization, developing new pricing concepts and in charge for price calculations within Döhler. Prior to this he was gathering his extensive expertise in pricing as a Pricing Business Consultant at Vendavo (leading provider of enterprise pricing software solutions) and as a Project Manager at Simon Kucher & Partners (the leading global consulting firm in product pricing and marketing strategy). Martin holds a master’s degree and a PhD. in business administration from the University of Mainz, Germany (Thesis: “Price Tolerance of Consumers”). He is author and co-author of numerous articles in the areas of pricing. Martin is a regular speaker at pricing conferences and events.
