RebateManager

allows the definition, management, simulation, calculation, approval and initiation of payments of
special off-invoice conditions such as rebates, bonuses, kickbacks, credits etc. as well as helps establishing full
transparency across the entire price waterfall from base to pocket price.

Unrestricted number of rebate types of any complexity can be defined, maintained and made available for the creation
and execution of any rebate agreement in which the rebate types can be applied individually or in any logical
combination.

RebateManager helps with the creation and management of the customer specific agreements for all off-invoice conditions as well as with the calculation and simulation of the actual, earned types of rebates (bonuses, kickbacks, credits etc. – all off-invoice conditions). All kinds of rebates, such as volume, marketing, growth etc. can be created and posted to the “bonus types library”. Those can then be pulled from the library and placed individually or in combination with other rebate types into the customer specific bonus agreements of any complexity. If needed (over time) the individual rebate types can be easily adjusted to the specific customer agreement requirements.

As soon as all customer specific rebate agreements have been created, those can be used for a periodical calculation or simulation based on real transactional data, also in combination with additional aggregations, enrichments and based on specific assumptions. The results can be, after a possible approval, transferred as final bonus amounts to payment processing systems for the execution of the customer payments and/or moved as price elements to PriceAnalyzer module for additional performance analysis or simulation.

Setup

Quick analysis of current or envisioned special, off-invoice condition framework including all required attributes and parameters followed by the setup of the library of all rebate types and agreements on basis of that library (all supported by an UI editor). Load of all transactional data (initially manually via Price f(x) MS-Excel-Client or data loader). Test of simulation and calculation results possibly followed by the enrichment of transactional data. Definition and setup of approval workflows for off-invoice conditions.
